Turning over fee-for-service Medicare dollars to health plans was supposed to save money. But it's beginning to look like this isn't the case. To date, in fact, CMS has paid 12 percent more for Medicare Advantage plans than for traditional FFS Medicare. This is just another example of the graft and corruption that can be found in any plan or program encouraged by teh Bush Administration. Paying someone $550.00 a year for signing you up with your own medicare benefit is an absolute crime and should bring a long and lengthy jail term to anyone who authorized such a ridiculous procedure. Is it any wonder that our health care system in such a mess?
