Though some healthcare industry players are quite unhappy about it, the "public option"--a government run health plan that would compete with commercial plans--is still in play on the Hill. This week, the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee has been circulating a draft for the plan, which would require an upfront loan from taxpayers, but pay for itself after a few months.
