Americans see need for immediate healthcare reform

A recent poll has found that the majority of adults in the U.S. believe that President-elect Barack Obama is right in focusing on healthcare reform. In the telephone survey of over 1,000 people, 77 percent of them believed that Obama needed to make major reforms to the healthcare system in the U.S., and 55 percent of them believed that the reforms needed to be sought as quickly as possible after he takes office.
