Society establishes global advisory panel to advance the future of nursing

A panel of international nurse leaders met in Basel, Switzerland last week for the first time to collaborate on nursing initiatives to advance global health outcomes. The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International established the Global Advisory Panel on the Future of Nursing to establish a global voice and vision for the future of nursing. The panel, chaired by Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing Dean Emerita and Professor Martha N. Hill, Ph.D., R.N., identified the need for a worldwide voice on reform, advocacy, and innovations in leadership, policy, practice, education and work environments. Announcement
