The Journal's analysis is right on the money - and not surprising. I think it all goes back to the GIANT ego of all doctors - and even Physician Assistants. I work in governmental health regulation and the Physician Assistant in my neurosurgeon's office got all bent out of shape when I had the audacity to tell him he was wrong about HIPAA regulations. He didn't know the facts on Protected Health Information. It must be something in the water these guys (and dolls) drink.
