Judge: St. Luke's, Saltzer Medical Group must reveal plans to dissolve acquisition

A federal judge wants St. Luke's Health System in Boise and the Saltzer Medical Group to hand over the details of their plan to unwind their partnership due to anitrust violations, the Idaho Statesman reports. U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill, who ordered the health system to dissolve the buyout more than a year ago, this week ordered the organizations to file details about their plans. The break up of the partnership is complicated because they have merged so many services, according to St. Luke's. But the Federal Trade Commission and Idaho Attorney General's Office told Winmill they want proof that St. Luke's has rigorously tried to find a buyer for Saltzer. Article
