Beth Israel, Milton Hospital strike affiliation deal
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Milton Hospital, both in Massachusetts, officially affiliated in what now is called Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton, a deal that went into effect on Jan. 1. The clinical affiliation will allow Beth Israel to identify and enhance local services, according to a Milton Hospital press release. Milton Hospital will have access to resources at Beth Israel, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. The deal formalizes the existing eight-year relationship between the two hospitals.
