These Board members will serve as a resource to the ongoing research and development of new and existing programs.

Dr. Avery Faigenbaum is a Professor in the Department of Health and Exercise Science at The College of New Jersey. He is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Dr. Todd Schlifstein is a Physiatrist and consultant at Manhattan Orthopedics at Lenox Hill Hospital. He is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a Fellow of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for more than 10 years.
Board Certified in Ob/Gyn and MFM, Dr. Joel Schwartz received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed his residency training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC and subsequently became Fellowship trained in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Michael Wein, M.D. is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and with honors in Biology from Brown University. He completed postgraduate training at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine; then served as a Fellow in the Department of Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Wayne L. Westcott, Ph.D., directs the Fitness Research Programs at Quincy College in Massachusetts, where he also developed the Exercise Science Major. He is an editorial advisor/reviewer for many publications, including The Physician and Sportsmedicine, ACSM’s Health & Fitness Journal, Prevention, Shape, and On-Site Fitness magazines, and authored 24 books on strength training.
