Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) is the presenting sponsor of the third annual “Health Matters: Activating Wellness in Every Generation” conference scheduled for January 13-15 in La Quinta, Calif. The conference is the annual convergence of key health and wellness thought leaders for the national Health Matters Initiative established by the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation, bringing together more than 400 stakeholders from healthcare, public policy, business, education and sports.

Trevor Fetter, president and chief executive officer at Tenet, will open the conference and participate in a panel discussion about health transformation in America led by former President Bill Clinton. Carolyn Caldwell, chief executive officer at Desert Regional Medical Center, a Tenet hospital, will participate in a panel about promoting healthy lifestyles and will discuss the hospital’s commitment to the public health initiative “Get Tested Coachella Valley” to bring free, anonymous HIV testing to all local residents through a mobile medical clinic and other public outreach efforts. Cathy Fraser, senior vice president of human resources at Tenet, will participate in a panel discussion about employee effectiveness and well-being and will highlight Tenet’s innovative wellness programs.
