What is Nexalign iEXCHANGE? Nexalign iEXCHANGE is a web-based, multi-payer solution that allows physicians to quickly and easily submit transactions to healthcare payers. It supports the direct processing of inpatient and outpatient authorizations, referrals, treatment updates, concurrent reviews, and extensions.
Why is Nexalign iEXCHANGE important? In many cases iEXCHANGE can automate and approve up to 80 percent of referral requests, significantly reducing administrative procedures and related costs. In addition, the service gives the physician’s staff real-time access to member eligibility and processed transaction information with appropriate considerations for member confidentiality. - Laboratory Results, including Diabetic Screening and Cholesterol Screening Clinical Intelligence – Nexalign iEXCHANGE 8.0 now delivers laboratory information as clinical summary content to help reduce the number of duplicate lab tests and trend results, support quality initiative programs and provide opportunities for patient education. The availability of lab results on the clinical summary delivered to physicians assists them in making clinical decisions that can affect the treatment plan. High impact laboratory results such as diabetic screening and cholesterol screening have clinical intelligence applied to identify medical issues and treatment opportunities.
