Manpower San Diego Working with Local Hospitals to Improve Patient-Satisfaction

New program provides staff trained to improve patient service

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Manpower San Diego recently began using two sources to provide additional training, specifically to prepare its candidates to be successful in the healthcare industry. One source is HealthStream, which has partnered with Manpower to assist their candidates with additional tools that lift their skill level above and beyond the competition. HealthStream is a training firm which until now worked exclusively with hospitals, developing a training schedule specific to a particular hospital’s staff. These programs were designed to cover a variety of subjects, in fact, up to 60 different courses were developed. All of these are now available to Manpower to be used as needed. The second source available to Manpower is its own internal Training Development Center (TDC). The TDC will give their candidates a strong foundation in customer or patient service. This will assist Manpower’s healthcare clients in their efforts to improve their patient satisfaction scores and subsequently their reimbursement as well. Both of these training sources are provided by Manpower “free of charge” to both clients and candidates. Manpower San Diego currently offers staffing for many of the local hospitals, medical centers and group practices, to include medical, dental and optometry.
