Family physicians have a critical role to play in end-of-life care, and can help patients and their families during that time. The Health is Primary campaign, sponsored by Family Medicine for America's Health, is focusing on the ability of primary care physicians, and family medicine practitioners specifically, to offer patients their best support at the end of their lives. The campaign offers resources physicians can provide to patients on physical, mental and emotional comfort measures, as well as advance directives. Announcement
