WHAT:

Conference Call to Announce American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Investment for New Health IT Regional Extension Centers
 
Since the start of 2010, numerous program awards have been announced to advance the effort for all persons to benefit from an electronic health record by 2014. These awards address state health information exchange requirements and resources for health providers to achieve meaningful use of health IT in their offices, clinics, and treatment facilities. Dr. Blumenthal is expected to discuss recently awarded grant support efforts to add new resources to support the ongoing adoption and meaningful use of health IT.
