Across the country, healthcare institutions are worrying over the growing shortage of nurses--which is only expected to get worse as existing staff members retire. Unfortunately, at least one nursing school won't be able to help any more: The State University of New York New Paltz, which is graduating 167 nurses over the next two years, is closing down its nursing program by 2011.
