Position Description
Title: National Sales and Marketing Manager
Market: Medical Capital Equipment and Supplies
Location: This confidential medical device company is located in southeast Florida.
Position Scope:
This role is responsible for the daily management of the national sales team and leads the marketing and recruiting efforts by defining and implementing marketing initiatives that support increasing sales from existing and new distribution channels.
An ideal candidate will be able to work closely with a group of managers to develop plans utilizing inputs and contributing ideas to other areas while accepting input into the sales and marketing plans from their peers.
This is both a strategic and a hands-on leadership role that includes coaching and managing sales and marketing to increase sales results for all core products. Ideal candidate will both develop and accomplish these objectives through hands on efforts.
Functions:
Understand the companies business and products in order to successfully guide the sales team and develop marketing plans to promote the company and its products
Responsible for ongoing recruiting, sales, training development, and marketing initiatives
Ultimately responsible for management and development of all sales, recruiting, and marketing collateral
Ensure communication of applicable sales, recruiting, and marketing information to all levels of the organization
Develop strategic sales, recruiting, and marketing goals in alignment with overall strategic direction of the CEO
Develop tactical implementation plans to increase sales and recruiting productivity in alignment with strategic goals
Define or develop training initiatives to support strategic and tactical goals
Foster a culture that preserves the core values of the company and produces enthusiasm toward the company and its objectives
Define performance expectations for the sales team and drive to those expectations
Position will operate from the company offices during normal business hours
Professional Qualifications:
Medical equipment and supplies sales and service industry experience REQUIRED
Experience in building Marketing campaigns a MUST
6 yrs minimum of related experience; 10+ years of related experience preferred
Previous sales, recruiting, training, sales management and marketing experience required
In-depth understanding and the ability to apply company culture, goals, philosophy and values into daily activities
Ability to assess existing strengths and weaknesses and build from scratch when necessary and build on existing structure where possible
This position will work 80% from the office during regular business hours

Education:
4 year degree in Sales and or Management from an accredited University
Masters Degree preferred
Attendance at formal sales management program preferred
Compensation:
$100K plus base
Incentive program based on sales performance
