Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH)
Fergus Falls, MN
This is an opportunity to work in a small, state-of-the-art, inpatient psychiatric treatment facility designed to provide a safe environment for adults in acute psychiatric status. The hospital offers an array of services in a community based setting. Active mental health treatment and programming utilize the person-centered Illness Management and Recovery model of psychiatric care, which involves the patient, family, and community in treatment planning and implementation. The multidisciplinary treatment teams include nurses, psychiatrists, advanced practice registered nurses, psychologists, social workers, and rehabilitation therapists.
University/Scholar opportunity:
We have partnered up with the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota to provide unique clinical scholar opportunity. Psychiatrists have the opportunity to work at one of our facilities while maintaining an official relationship with the University as a clinical faculty. These positions come with an enhanced benefit package and competitive salary. Based on each candidate’s interest and/or goals they have the option of state employment or to pursue the UMP option.
