Position Description

The Cancer Care Center of a major Michigan Health System is seeking an RN Manager, Patient Care Services. This position reports to the Director and is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the Cancer Care Center nursing staff. Working with the Director, the position provides key input into planning and program development for areas of accountability. Together with the Director, will determine the philosophy of care for areas of responsibility and oversee the management of the unit to support that philosophy. The position will lead efforts to ensure compliance with accreditation/licensing and other regulatory standards; assist with evaluation of patient outcomes and quality of customer services; serve as clinical resource and leadership role model for nursing staff; actively coordinate with the Director to ensure appropriate competent staff levels. The incumbent will also participate as a member of the leadership team for the Cancer Care Center to ensure achievement of overall program objectives; assist with the development, interpretation, and application of hospital policies, budgets, plans, and perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications include: 2 years experience; Bachelors Degree; BSN preferred; Michigan RN license. Salary is from $31.59 per hour to $49.14 per hour, depending on experience. Variable shifts.
