Position Description
Great career opportunity for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Illinois. Due to expansion, FNP or PA is needed for hospital-based family practice/convenient care practice in southern Illinois. This is a progressive rural hospital with state-of-the-art equipment located centrally between St. Louis, MO, and Carbondale, IL. Successful candidate will practice independently, dividing time between family practice clinic and convenient care clinic. Provider will be seeing patients of all ages from pediatric through adult care. Both NEW GRADUATES and experienced candidates will be considered. This tranquil rural setting is about an hour from St. Louis and includes many historical sites, schools, a variety of shopping options plus the new World Shooting and Recreational Complex. The movie In the Heat of the Night was filmed here in the 1960s. Competitive base pay depending upon experience, $65-80K, plus a full benefit package.
