Job Title: Phlebotomist
Duration: Contract for 3 + months
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Job Description:
Candidate is expected to interacts with all laboratory customers courteously and professionally; responds to telephone inquiries in a timely manner.
Procures appropriate specimens by venipuncture, heel stick and finger stick following established procedures including proper patient identification procedures.
Transports specimens from on- and off-site collection areas to the appropriate section of the laboratory following established safety procedures.
Accurately enters patient demographic information and laboratory test orders into the information system(s), while ascertaining adequacy of patient information as well as sample identity
Required Experience:
Minimum one year of phlebotomy experience is required.
