NYU EPIC Healthcare Information System Implementation
NYU Langone Medical Center, long-regarded as an institution willing to put in practice the latest in healthcare technology, is pleased to announce its implementation of the EPIC Enterprise Medical Center System. This is a chance for Information Technology professionals to work with the newest clinical IT Systems from the ground up. Opportunities abound within several of the EPIC system modules for billing, scheduling and more!
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to be a quick learner and team player, and should have excellent quantitative and analytical skills along with clinical system implementation experience. Our ideal candidates will be certified in one or more of the following Epic modules: Ambulatory, Resolute (PB), Cadence, Inpatient or Optime. Candidates who are not certified in Epic but have Cerner, Allscripts or Meditech experience are also welcome to apply.
For positions in the Ambulatory setting, preferred candidates will have RN licensure and a background in Nursing Informatics.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on the NYU Langone Medical Center EPIC Implementation from its inception and be at the forefront of organization-wide innovation. Once again, preferred candidates will have EPIC Certification. We will however train selected candidates (RNs with Informatics experience or candidates who have experience using Cerner, Allcripts or MediTech) so they can receive EPIC Certification, a highly regarded professional credential.
