Director of Rehabilitation Job in Florida - StaffPointe, LLC

Position Description

Director of Rehabilitation needed for a 400 bed acute care facility. Director will report to VP Clinical Operations. Duties include: direct and supervise operations of Inpatient Rehabilitation, HealthPlex Rehabilitation, Wellness and Administration; oversee the effective administration of staffing requirements to include licensure, scheduling, hiring, counseling, termination, etc.; Prepare and present annual budget to Administration and ensure financial and budget stability of all areas; develop and update departmental policy and procedure manual; responsible for all contract agreements established to include maintenance, insurance and student programs; develop and recommend marketing programs for assigned areas in conjunction with Marketing and Public Relations; ensure compliance with Federal, State and TJC requirements and regulation; develop and implement recommendations for service enhancements and new program development; remain current on healthcare trends/issues on the Local, State and Federal levels; attend meeting and community events related to Medical Center and HealthPlex operations; and perform functions of staff therapist as needed. Qualifications are: Bachelors Degree in related field, and a Masters degree in healthcare administration or business is preferred; 3 to 5 years management and related experience; and licensed PT, OT or Speech Language Therapist. Salary negotiable based on experience $79K-$115K. Sign-on bonus, relocation and full benefits package.
