Position Description

RN Manager, Inpatient Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry and Partial Hospitalization Program needed for major healthcare system and facility in south central Michigan. Provides general direction and support to supervisors and staff within the inpatient adult and geriatric psychiatry units and the partial hospitalization program through the development of mutually agreed upon expectations and goals, consistent with mission, vision, and values. Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates new policies, procedures, protocols. Budgetary responsibility for the development, allocation, and evaluation of annual financial plan for programs identified above with oversight of Administrative Director. Ongoing revision to ensure appropriate use of financial resources based on key efficiency measures as defined within Hospital e.g., MECON benchmarking. Responsible for management of staff resources in programs listed above. Hires, supervises, evaluates, promotes, coaches, and terminates in collaboration with Human Resources Department. Must be an RN licensed in Michigan or licensable with a Masters degree, MSN preferred. 5 years of clinical and/or managerial experience in an acute care psych setting is preferred. BLS and CPI within 6 mos. The salary range is 85-105K.
