Clincial Nurse Specialist (CNS) - AVA Search Group

Position Description

Seeking CNS for hospital in Central Florida south of Lake Wales.

The position reports directly to the VP of Clinical Services and work collaboratively with the Nurse Manager of the ICU. This is a critical position since they recently started our Primary PCI program which is critical to the ICU department.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) functions in the role of clinician, educator, case manager, and consultant. In collaboration with the medical staff and nursing staff, the CNS monitors the clinical care of the patients and provides clinical support to improve patient care and patient outcomes.

Education/Experience:
Completion of Clinical Nurse Specialist program or Masters degree in Nursing
Prefer at least 3+ years experience as CNS
Must have recent acute care (hospital) experience
Florida license
Current BLS
Current ACLS within 90 days of employment
Current TNCC (Preferred)
