Oncology practice in Eastern, Texas is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner.

You will provide primary care in a collaborative practice with the physicians. Responsibilities include: assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for individual patients; assist physicians and perform procedures as needed; provide education to patients and their families; promote wellness and recommends community resources as required; promote and provide staff education; perform genetic counseling and testing as required; provide case management for oncology clients and their families and is resource person for nursing staff.

Qualifications:

ARNP
2+ years oncology experience as NP
Experience and knowledge in the management of the physiologic and psychological effects of cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment
Texas RN state license
Current state certification of Nurse Practitioner
Current CPR certification required
AOCN certification preferred but not required
