Pediatrician - AVA Search Group

Position Description

Seeking a Board certified Pediatrician to take over a busy patient panel of a retiring Physician within a single specialty group of team providers.

They are looking for someone to start early 2010.

Your time will be spent between 2 sites. You will be 1 of 2 physicians at one location along with a Nurse Practitioner. Location also has a lab, ER and rehab next door. The 2nd location has 4 physicians and a Nurse Practitioner.

Call is 1:6/1:10 (1/6 24 hour call and 1:10 night call)

Level 2 A Nursery and handles all deliveries 34 weeks and above and care for infants who require oxygen, IVs, BILI Light management, feeders and growers. 8 bed in-patient pediatric unit. The closest Neonatologist is less than a mile away. They assist with high risk deliveries.

This is an employed position with good benefits with in and out-patient responsibilities.

This group is very stable (no turnover) and 5 new providers have been brought in over the past 12 years.
