Dir of Surgical Svcs Job for West Virginia - StaffPointe, LLC

Position Description

Medical center near the West Virginia/Virginia border is seeking a Director of Surgical Services. The Director will be responsible for 7 OR suites and 2 Endo. The Director will be the designated leader for hospital surgical services including OR, PACU, Endoscopy, Central Sterile, and Day Surgery. The Director will plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate product line effectiveness. This position is also accountable for physician, patient, and staff satisfaction; will provide direction, support and guidance to assistant nurse managers and aides in their development both clinically and managerially. The director will have 24 hour responsibility. Qualifications include: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN or equivalent Bachelors degree in a health related field, with MSN preferred; minimum 5 years clinical experience in area of specialty; minimum 5 years management experience in nursing preferred; 5 years OR management experience required; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to obtain West Virginia license; current CPR certification; Certified Nurse Operating Room CNOR preferred. Salary is from $80K to $95K, depending on experience. Sign-on bonus negotiable and relocation assistance available.
