Position Description

Seeking an Nurse Practitioner for Women’s Health in Eastern, TX south of Tyler.

Position would consider experienced or new graduate candidates.

Work four days per week – 32 hours – Monday – Thursday.

You will provide prenatal and medical care services to female patients in a clinic setting. You will screen patients to determine need for medical attention; perform physical exams; record and document pertinent patient data; initiate outpatient orders for diagnostic testing; identify normal and abnormal findings on history, physical examination and commonly performed laboratory studies; prescribe appropriate medication and perform clinical procedures: urine pregnancy tests, urinalysis dipsticks, IUD insertions.

Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner – Family or Women’s Health
Current State of Texas Board of Nursing registration and license
CPR certified
Able to work independently and show a high degree of good judgment Must be organized and able to multitask
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Experience in use of and in documenting medical records electronically
