Level II Trauma Center and teaching facility has a great opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to work as the Manager of the Spine Center.

Duties include:

- Day to day operations of Spine Center including setting objectives, planning, organizing, controlling and evaluating the operations with the goal of excellence in all aspects of service, outcome and cost
- Development of clinical pathways for the spine patients
- See patients in the Spine Clinic, diagnostic testing, and follow patients through continuum of care –
- Participate in clinical case conferences
- Hospital rounds on surgical patients
- Case management of spine patient (as a case load) through the system to ensure quality and effectiveness/efficiencies of care with the goal being an overall positive patient experience and outcome
- Oversee and manage outcome database and develops quality indicator reports for quarterly review
- Responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of pre and post-operative educational programs for the patients served
- Apply evidence based practice patterns to make outgoing program enhancements to patient care, interventions and outcome
- Provide 24/7 telephone access to patients for questions and early problem solving
- Develop a tracking program of physician referral patterns, % of surgeries generated; payer mix and other indicators to be determined and reports to department meetings
- Work with Marketing, Nursing and participating physicians to promote Spine Program internally and externally
- Improve customer service with patients, team mangers and community

Requirements:
ARNP with Florida RN and ARNP license
At least 2 years experience in Ortho/Neuro/Rehab services specifically with Spinal Care
Prefer Case Management experience
Solid Interpersonal skills, Critical Thinking skills and Educator skills Leadership/Management experience
Excellent Customer Service skills
CPR Training and active ACLS
