Nursing Director-Surgical Services
Comprehensive Regional Pediatric Center
(Highest level of certification for pediatric care)

Located in the highly desirable area of Tennessee, our client is a well established not for profit pediatric medical center.

Job Requirements:
Position calls for a seasoned nursing executive who is skilled in the management and the care of surgical pediatric patients and able to provide inspired administrative leadership to the perioperative department. Surgeries offered include a broad range from minor outpatient, routine outpatient T & A’s to reconstructive neuro.

Vital Statistics:
• 8 OR’s; PACU; Outpatient Surgery Center; just less than 14K annual surgical procedures
• Diapers Used: 402,283
• Stuffed Animals Given Away: 14,004
• Batteries used in toys: 2,510
• Crayons used: over 39,000
• Band-Aids applied: 210,751
• Popsicles Eaten (various flavors): 116,736

Qualifications to Win Interview and be Successful:
• BSN, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with a Master’s degree preferred
• Pediatric experience highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5years experience in nursing administration.
• Outstanding leadership skills with demonstrated success in personnel development and leadership
• Solid ability to cultivate patient, physician, and employee satisfaction
• Talent in planning and implementation of pilot projects, and programs employing change theories.
• Strong track record in delivery of top notch clinical services with solid financial and budgetary knowledge
