Position Description

Physical Therapist job in New Jersey. Responsible for assessing planning and implementing the delivery of care; and with the approval of the patient establishes reasonable and measurable goals within a specific time frame. The professional physical therapist assumes responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the healthcare team. Ability to communicate clearly in English, both oral and written. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to perform diversified duties within time limitations with a high degree of accuracy. Organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information. Ability to float as requested by supvr/mgr. Ability to maintain consistent attendance. Demonstrated skill in clinical interviewing. Ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Conveniently located approximately 7-10 miles east of Philadelphia, 80 miles north of Washington, DC and 90 miles south of New York City. Minimum: Bachelor Degree Preferred: Masters Degree. Experience: Minimum: 0-1 years Preferred: 2-4 years. Licensure/Certification/Registration: NJ State PT License, will consider other states with reciprocity. License or certification preferred.
