Position Description

ICU/Critical Care RN job in upstate New York. Applicant must possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles, ability to provide quality patient care and ability to assess patient’s needs. Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts or move patients in a safe manner. Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required. Current RN New York license or eligible. Min of Associates Degree. 2-5 years experience. A minimum of 2 years current critical care experience required. ACLS required. PALS preferred. Salary from 52-62K. The town has a population of over 30K and is situated in northern New York just west of Lake Ontario. Service area is approximately 200K.
