Position Description

Pharmaceutical Care Manager of Oncology job in Ohio. Under supervision of DOP, assumes responsibility for the daily operation of inpatient or outpatient pharmacy services. Will be responsible for all aspects of the cancer centers pharmacy operations and clinical services provided to our patients. Working within state-of-the-art facilities, including a brand new USP 797 compliant clean room, working closely with the medical and nursing staff leadership to continue to advance the Institutes standing as Ohio’s top Cancer Center and the reputation as one of the nation’s top cancer centers. Come join a team that recognizes your expertise and truly puts patients first. Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, advanced degree preferred. Pharmacy practice experience in oncology. Three years of pharmacy supervisory experience required. Experience in a large, tertiary care medical center is preferred. Pharm degree with current Ohio license and MS, MBA, PharmD and/or residency preferred. A minimum of three years of pharmacy supervisory experience required. Experience in a large, tertiary care medical center is preferred. Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state Ohio or eligible. Physical demands include periods of standing and walking. Dexterity sufficient to perform computer functions and communication via telephone. May be required to lift and transport up to ten pounds. Requires normal or corrected vision.
