Position Description

A national consulting firm in Minnesota is seeking an experienced inpatient coder to help in its documentation improvement consulting program sold to hospitals. This position must interact with and be able to present to groups of people that would include HIM coders, nurses performing clinical documentation improvement functions, and physicians. The candidate can work remotely. The candidate must pass 2 coding tests. Billable bonus is included with salary and PTO is 18 days in the first 2 years. Prior consulting experience and RHIA, RHIT or CCS preferred. Salary is from 55K to 75K depending on experience.
