Position Description

Technical Services Manager

In this role, you will manage the operations of our Help Desk/Technical Support and Network areas. Responsibilities include managing equipment related to networking systems and data communications; overseeing the planning, installation and maintenance of Local (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN); overseeing the administration of all networks and data communications; helping develop operating and capital budgets; monitoring network security and system backups; and maintaining LAN and WAN documentation. You will also be expected to supervise staff members and oversee the inventory management process.

To qualify, you must be a Certified Network Technical Professional (Microsoft, Cisco or equivalent) with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems. You must also have 8 years of network management experience, including 4 years’ experience managing IT projects. Preferred applicants will have a master’s degree with previous experience in a healthcare institution. Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving and management skills are essential.
