Position Description
Microsoft’s Health Solutions Group (HSG) is responsible for developing, selling and supporting new products that enable consumers, providers, enterprises, and governments to improve health and wellness. Two primary initiatives for the HSG are its consumer offerings (HealthVault) and its enterprise offerings (Amalga). HealthVault is a web-based consumer health platform that allows individuals to aggregate store and share personal health information. Amalga is a suite of technology solutions designed to enable improved data insight, operations and clinical care in hospitals and health systems around the world.
This position will be responsible for managing the relationships with our key strategic partners centered around the HealthVault platform.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building and managing senior-level relationships with large, complex customers in healthcare as well as success in managing large and complex projects. As a new business within Microsoft, this individual will also play an important role in shaping the overall customer relationship and customer satisfaction culture within HSG.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for managing the overall relationship within large, complex strategic accounts;
Ability to develop, track and drive key success metrics across account;
Develop strategic account development plans to inform specific activities and business goals of all our customer relationships.
Identify new opportunities to expand the business relationship, including new marketing programs and product ideas;
Drive customer engagement and participation in product development efforts and user groups
Exercise good judgment in escalating issues either internally or with the customer.
Establish effective working relationships with HSG product and marketing teams to effectively meet the needs of the strategic partnerships
Coordinate with the activities of other Microsoft account teams
Ideal candidates will have the following knowledge, qualifications, and experience:
5-7 years of customer-facing, senior executive relationship management experience in sales, customer account management or business development
Demonstrated ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
Cross-discipline collaboration
Ability to succeed in fast-paced, startup environment
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with health care or web industry is strongly preferred.
Nationwide travel will be required
Bachelor’s degree required
