Assistant Director of Information Technology

In this role, you will oversee the operations of the Information Technology department and provide backup support to the Director/CIO. You will also assist in the planning, development, and implementation of a comprehensive information technology strategy, technical architecture, and short-term and long-term plans and projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, Business Management or related field. At least 5 years of progressively responsible management/supervisory experience in information technology systems, business applications, operations and administration is required. Strong customer service skills and demonstrated experience managing/leading an IT department is required. Healthcare/hospital experience and workflow understanding preferred. Excellent written/verbal communication skills are also required, along with the ability to translate business needs into IT solutions.
