Position Description

We are seeking an experienced CMS coder who has worked on government A/B MAC Jurisdiction contracts. This candidate will have experience with the CMS tools provided (SCF) and how it is used.

Experience with other vulnerability assessment (VA) tools that a CMS MAC contractor must use to ensure proper security levels are met. When official audits occur, CMS will use the same tool that was given to the contractor.


Primary Responsibilities


The MCS shared system maintainer shall develop a shared system capability that allows contractors to produce an electronic report that contains all parameters for a given SCF edit.


The MCS maintainer shall ensure that the capability developed for requirement 5725.1 allows contractors to (a) monitor and take no action, (b) auto-deny, or© auto-suspend claim lines that fail an edit.


The maintainers shall ensure that the capability developed for requirement 5725.1 shall have the capacity to create a file that can be downloaded to a server that a personal computer using the server can read.
