Position Description

Neuropsychologist – Full Time!

Up to $5000 SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE!

Experienced Neuropsychologists interested in a flexible, 4 day or 5 day workweek have an opportunity waiting for them through MossRehab/ Albert Einstein Healthcare.

This position will be part of a new unit, where you will have the opportunity to establish clinical protocols, as well as to assist with program development. You will be part of a trans-disciplinary team, where your professional development is a priority for us. We offer continuing education and research opportunities to help enhance your clinical knowledge base.

This position can be either 32 hours a week (4 days / week) OR 40 hours a week (5 days) and your time will be evenly split between two MossRehab inpatient rehabilitation units located at Frankford Hospital and Frankford Hospital Bucks County campuses (descriptions of both facilities are below):

Frankford Hospital – Frankford: located in the lower Northeast section of Philadelphia at Frankford Avenue and Wakeling Street, is a 121-bed medical/surgical facility offering full array of acute medical, acute inpatient rehabilitation and of outpatient services.

Frankford Hospital – Bucks County: 184-bed medical/surgical facility located in Langhorne, Bucks County offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including emergency medicine, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, rehabilitation medicine and occupational medicine.

In this position, you will be responsible for the following:

• Providing neuropsychological and psychological services to acute inpatient rehabilitation patients and their families.
  
• Educating family members and team on the neuropsychological status of patients.
  
• Suggesting interventional strategies due to neuropsychological deficits.
  

If you possess the following, please apply immediately:

• Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D. or equivalent degree in clinical psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology required.
  
• Three or more year’s experience with the acute inpatient rehabilitation population required.
  
• Clinical experience with behavioral techniques required.
  
• Experience with family therapy desired.
  
• Must be licensed in PA, or in the process of obtaining it.
