Position Description
We are seeking a candidate with strong proven consulting experience in the healthcare industry. Preferably experience in change management supporting IT application(s).
Candidate must be comfortable in with both constituent groups and clinical stakeholders.
Candidate is detail oriented, with excellent writing, organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Candidate is proficient with the MS Suite of tools.
Must have ability to work effectively and cooperatively with diverse customers including physician and nursing leadership and patient advocacy groups in large integrated healthcare environments.
This position will require the successful candidate to collect, organize, and employ information through various means including but not limited to: interviews with stakeholders, independent reading, interpretation of diagrams, charts, focus group facilitation, or clinical procedure manuals or through any combination of these methods.
Background and knowledge of healthcare processes and clinical pathways in large integrated healthcare systems required.
Using customer defined methods, you will assess current state of My HealtheVet personal health record system, identify new opportunities for utilizing PHRs in clinical processes, development implementation strategies and measure impacts. Professional writing and presentation skills will be used to integrate findings into project team reports to the customer.
RN or masters degree in public health with relevant experience preferred.
