Position Description
Microsoft Health Solutions Group is expanding in Thailand and seeks a senior sales professional with a deep understanding of the health provider industry, proven sales track record (developing and managing a pipeline of opportunities to close) agility in developing and managing executive enterprise relationships and experience working as an effective team member. The Health Solutions Group is in the early stages of building market share with its enterprise hospital and clinical information systems, and this role will be critical to market growth strategy and execution.
Essential Job Functions:
• Develop and manage the Health Solutions Group pipeline
• Own the sale of the HSG applications to Hospitals and Hospital Groups (Public and Private)
• Develop a deep understanding of the medical community across territory, positioning HSG with the key influencers.
• Formulate and execute a joint plan with the Public Sector Health teams in each region to target the top health institutions.
• Prioritize the territory on opportunity and market potential
• Orchestrate HSG’s local relationship with the clinical standards bodies, NGOs and other influential organizations.
• Working with the APAC and WW Health Solutions Group to share best practices.
• Orchestrate HSG’s presence at key medical conferences, where possible secure presenting opportunities.
• Liaise with the WW HSG PR and marketing team to maximize the coverage in the healthcare markets.
Qualifications:
• BA or BSc Degree level
• Senior sales executive with deep industry knowledge,
• Solid understanding of a wide range of solution and partner offerings, as well as the trends within the IT industry,
• Ability to call on senior business executives in major health organizations and a proven track record in successfully managing and closing complex sales in large enterprise accounts. This individual will be on the forefront of Microsoft’s evolution from a recognized leader in the desktop computing to a solutions oriented company that delivers business value.
• The position will own the orchestration across several strategic and major accounts integrating an overlay team which can include Partner Managers, Account Managers, Industry Managers, Services and Technical Specialists; accordingly the ability to work effectively in a team setting and manage multiple large opportunities is critical.
• This is a software sales based income position and the individual will be goaled on the attainment of revenue across their assigned accounts.
• This candidate must have demonstrated work experience with technical understanding of computer software technology and effective presentation skills; strong project management and account development skills
• Knowledge of CxO business challenges, including enterprise customer requirements
• Microsoft and competitive product knowledge.
