North East Region Solution Sales Executive - Microsoft

Position Description
This position is responsible for identifying, qualifying and selling Microsoft Corporation Health Solution Group enterprise solutions to strategic profit and not-for-profit healthcare delivery systems within the our North Eastern Region.
This role requires a senior sales executive with deep health industry knowledge, a solid understanding of a wide range of solution and partner offerings, the ability to call on senior business executives (CEO, COO, CMO, CFO) in major health organizations and a proven track record in successfully managing and closing complex sales in large enterprise accounts. New business sales experience is preferred.
This individual will be on the forefront of Microsoft’s evolution from a recognized leader in the desktop computing to a solutions oriented company that delivers business, clinical and operations value to the health industry. The position will own the orchestration across several strategic and major accounts integrating with an overlay team which can include Account Managers, Partner Managers, Solution Sales Specialist’s, Industry Managers, Services and Technical Specialists; accordingly the ability to work effectively in a team setting and manage multiple large opportunities is critical.
This is a software sales based income position and the individual will be goaled on the attainment of revenue and commitments across their assigned accounts. This role requires an experienced salesperson with 8+ years selling enterprise information systems to healthcare enterprise customers and growing a large territory.
In addition, this candidate must have demonstrated work experience with technical understanding of: computer software technology; strong project account development skills; knowledge of the health IT industry as well as the CxO business challenges, including enterprise customer requirements; knowledge of the business and clinical drivers for enterprise accounts; excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills; Microsoft and competitive product knowledge. A BA/BS degree in Business or Marketing preferred. This position will be based out of one of our North Eastern regional offices, NYC or Boston.
