Position Description

Our new Health Solutions Group Enterprise products enables instant, role based analysis of patient, financial and operational data and it unleashes the value of the hospital’s data for its people to ultimately provide more efficient and better quality of care.
In the decade ahead, we have a unique opportunity to re-shape the way healthcare is delivered around the world through the magic of software. As an HSG Solution Specialist (HSGSS), you will be a member of a highly specialized team of worldwide sales professionals responsible for delivering the Health Solutions Group value proposition around systems built by Microsoft.
Key responsibilities:
1. You will carry a product quota for our new Hospital Information System, and a few standalone modules RIS/PACS
2. You will also be managed by a set of objectives (Commitments) that call on experience in customer and prospect engagements, competitive product knowledge and positioning, product based knowledge and opportunity management.
3. Assist HSG Sales teams worldwide in accelerating adoption of our health enterprise solutions in accounts through Demonstrations, Proof-of-Concepts, Architecture Design Sessions and Product Reviews. A major part of what w you will do is to help potential customers become more comfortable with our offerings and help overcome competitive, business and technical hurdles.
4. Drive adoption of solutions by supporting our Services teams in their deployment goals to achieve customer satisfaction and reference accounts / case studies for future sales.
5. You will be based in Asia or in the Middle East and have an opportunity to travel extensively throughout the regions. As an example, Singapore, Bangkok, Sidney or Dubai are some of the options.
6. Critical to HSG success, the following roles will also be contributing to your success:
a. The Physician Executives and Sales Executives providing sales opportunity qualification and support.
b. Work closely with the HSG Technology Solution Sales Specialist who is able to position and articulate HSG products at the deepest technical level.
Requirements and Skills/Qualifications:
Health Enterprise Solution Selling Experience: Proven success with large Hospitals, IDN or Health System customers, working knowledge of solution-selling strategies and tactics and business value selling.
Deep knowledge of at least one of the three following areas:
1. Clinical applications
2. Financial applications
3. RIS/PACS
• Account Management and Prioritization Excellence: Demonstrated strategic time management and multitasking skills. Effectively accelerates opportunity pipeline with predictable business results that exceed revenue targets.
Ø *Able to handle many projects / customer engagements
Ø *Able to identify and focus on priorities while appropriately setting expectations with customers, colleagues and manager.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills. Through use of professional selling skills use presentation and demonstration techniques to communicate the real value of our products.
• Ø Communication excellence through oral and written communications.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Sales Teamwork: High degree of collaboration with multiple Microsoft sales personnel. Involve appropriate resources to ensure win and success of projects.
Demonstrated skills in collaboration with virtual teams, cross-functional groups and with complex problems to solve.
Business and Competitive Knowledge:
Deep business and competitive knowledge of specific HIS technologies in order to prepare and delivering solution demonstrations, Architectural Design Sessions, Proof of Concepts and System Review sessions for business and technical decision makers
Deep competitive knowledge of key competitors offerings
Key requirements for this position include:
• 5+ years of experience with an HIS vendor and recognized expert in clinical, financial or radiology solutions.
• Willingness to travel extensively. The position requires 60% travel time.
• The successful candidate will use strong communication skills and business skills to ensure successful demo, evaluation, adoption, and implementation of the new line-up of Microsoft Health Enterprise products. You will interact and work with both business and technical audiences.
• Deep business knowledge of Enterprise Healthcare Imaging, PACS/RIS, and other Enterprise Provider line of business applications (i.e. Pharma, Labs, etc.)
• RN, BA/BS required in a related field or equivalent.
• Detail orientation and the ability to prioritize projects, features and meet deadlines.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and superior presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills including the ability to coordinate data from a variety of sources
• Team player with good interpersonal skills who is able to perform well under pressure
