Position Description

The Clinical Science Liaison is a field-based position for the oncology therapeutic area. This position is located in the San Francisco area.

You will be calling on identified community and academic clinical trial sites for oncology pipeline compounds.

Responsibilities: Drive Patient Enrollment

Accomplished through multiple tasks by each clinical liaison, including but not limited to the following:
Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future key investigators that will drive patient enrollment, both from the community and academic centers.
Work with identified individuals to assist and support the advancement of the oncology compounds
Disseminate complex, cutting edge technical information, innovative medical education materials and research concepts and clinical trials to identified investigators.
Coordinate contract, budget and regulatory submissions with management and OCOG to expedite clinical trial activation in all research sites within a specified geography.
Represent oncology with customers in the field as well as at regional/national meetings (i.e. ASCO, ASH, etc.)
Make clinical and scientific presentations to healthcare audiences as appropriate.
Foster medical, scientific and clinical trial information exchange from the medical community to the company’s medical team, including setting up conference calls with key members of the oncology team to update all relevant information.
Requirements:

Entrepreneurial individual with a proven track record in an oncology clinical related position (i.e. sales, MSL, other).
5 – 7 years oncology experience preferred
Advanced degree (RN, PharmD, PhD) is a plus but not required
Ability to travel up to 50% may be required at times.
