Position Description

Critical Care physician needed in north central Kansas. Call is 1:6. Competitive benefits package including loan forgiveness and relocation and an income guarantee with private practice opportunity. A capable physician with 13 years experience is preferred. Facility has 12 bed ICU, and 16 bed telemetry unit. This community owned health center is beginning the final phase of a ten year expansion plan with a 2009 completion date. In 2006 ground was broken for a new $70 million dollar patient bed tower. This comes on the heels of a newly constructed cancer center, parking garage, a 26 bed emergency room and two medical office buildings. This city was founded along the banks of the Smoky Hill River in 1885 and today has a growing population of 50,000. They are a regional hub for much of the 13 county area of north central Kansas serving 160,000+.
