Position Description

CNO needed for hospital which specializes in surgery. The CNO establishes the vision and provides leadership in the delivery of excellent patient care and in the achievement of a variety of facility initiatives. This position oversees all direct patient care activities. High performance is essential in improving operations effectiveness; assuring customer satisfaction, clinical excellence, physician and employee satisfaction; and in developing and implementing strategic initiatives. As a member of the facility’s executive team, the CNO participates in decisions impacting the facility and operational performance. A combination of clinical and management experience demonstrating progressive leadership development and competency is a must. Graduate from an accredited nursing program and have a current LA RN license is required. Prefer Master of Science degree in nursing or a relevant field. A Masters degree is preferred. The salary is open and dependent upon experience.
