Local Skilled Nursing Facilities Earn National Award for Quality Care

Sen. Ellyn Bogdanoff Joins Area Caregivers to Celebrate Quality, Promote the Positive Images of Long Term Care

Caregivers from long term care facilities (nursing homes) around the Broward and Palm Beach County areas will be honored by (R-Ft. Lauderdale) on Friday, November 2, at 10:00 a.m. at — a full-service continuing care community that provides independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. The Quality Care Celebration Event will highlight the successful leadership and commitment of caregivers for the high-quality, long term care they deliver to Florida seniors and will honor seven local facilities for earning the The event will show a message of unity among the profession and celebrate caregivers to highlight the quality care and quality of life being delivered to Florida’s more than 71,000 long term care residents.

In 2012, received the 2012 National Quality Award. Locally, in Boynton Beach earned the Silver Quality Award, while Bronze Awards went to ; , Boca Raton; , Ft. Lauderdale; , Jupiter; Lakeside Health Center, West Palm Beach; and , West Palm Beach.
