2012 mHealth Summit event to examine remote monitoring to reduce readmissions

An impressive line-up of speakers will discuss tactics to use remote patient monitoring to reduce readmissions at next week's mHealth Summit in Washington, D.C.

The panelists include Alan Snell, M.D., chief medical informatics officer at Indianapolis-based St. Vincent Health (pictured). St. Vincent partnered with other organizations in the celebrated Central Indiana Beacon Community remote monitoring program, which saw drops in readmission rates of about 75 percent.

The breakfast event, which takes place December 4 and is sponsored by FierceMobileHealthcare, also includes panelists Virend K. Somers, M.D., from Mayo Clinic and Alain Labrique, M.D., from Johns Hopkins University.  Pre-registration is required. --Click here to sign up for the event
