National Association of ACOs launched

Sixty accountable care organizations on Friday announced they have formed the National Association of ACOs, a nonprofit based in Washington, D.C. NAACOS President Clif Gaus said they formed the "informal network of ACO executives" in eight weeks. Among the goals are maintaining a consistent voice with ACO regualations, peer-to-peer learning and educating the public about accountable care. Interim board members include leaders from Heritage California ACO, Monarch Healthcare and Hackensack Alliance ACO, among others. Statement
