Kaiser pushes for more holistic healthcare delivery

Kaiser Permanente is taking a more holistic approach to healthcare delivery and is embedding that ethos in 10 new health centers it is opening in the coming months in Southern California, FastCoExist has reported. The new centers will have special lighting, automated check-in for patients, and chairs positioned so the patient and the physician have direct eye-to-eye contact. "The culture of healthcare has been to get you in and out," Kaiser CEO Bernard Tyson told FastCoExist.
