Ilene MacDonald is senior editor at FierceHealthcare and its related publications. She has been a reporter and editor for more than 25 years. Prior to joining FierceMarkets, she served as an editor at FDANews and as the associate editorial director at HCPro, Inc., where she oversaw the company's line of revenue cycle publications and products. Ilene works out of her home office just north of Boston. When she's not working, Ilene is busy taking care of her family, which includes her husband, two teenagers, and a dog (a Bichon-Poodle mix).
